Patrons of Adnams, a leading British operator of pubs and various shops all across the country, will soon be able to imbibe in more than just a well-crafted libation. In a move to increase customer loyalty across 12 shops, 50 pubs and over 1,200 stockists, the Suffolk-based brewer, distiller and retailer has partnered with Droplet to introduce a new mobile payment system and customer loyalty rewards program.

Starting this summer, Adnams customers will be able to take advantage of an integrated mobile app that does more than simply complete transactions. The new system will not only incentivize customer loyalty with a host of merchant rewards, the mobile payment portion of the platform will also let customers pay for services without taping their smartphone or even removing the phone from their pocket.
This new technological platform comes from Droplet. It is the latest product to come from the Birmingham-based start-up, which also promises to provide a very simple merchant integration process.

Droplet Rewards will first launch in Norwich pubs with additional Adnams locations following suit soon after.
