Allied First Bank Partners with IBT to Streamline the Customer Experience

IBT Inc., an industry-leading financial services software firm, recently announced that Allied First Bank of Oswego, IL has implemented its remote deposit capture (RDC) function.

The integration of this feature will allow Allied First to streamline operations, improve back-office efficiencies, and reduce risk—all with a user friendly experience.

“The customer experience centers around the ease of use and flexibility of the remote deposit capture product, along with IBT as the processing partner, allowing the additional freedoms of making deposits later in the business day and getting credit the same day,” Mike Golebiowski, President of IBT, explained to Loyalty360. “The customer has only four buttons to understand: 1) Make a deposit, 2) Look at my deposit log, 3) Change my pass phrase, and 4) Exit. It doesn’t get any simpler than that.”

Providing an exceptional experience that is also convenient and easy for the customer aligns with Allied First’s values. As the “high tech bank with the hometown touch,” Allied First says on its website that “one of the most important parts of being a bank is the customers and the community that we work with on a daily basis.”

Reiterating this customer and community-centric approach, Ken Holstrom, Senior Vice President of Operations at Allied First, released the following statement:

“Allied First began as an American Airlines credit union; then in June of 2007 received a commercial bank charter. We pride ourselves on being automated – we offer many of the same products that larger financial institutions use. However, we still consider ourselves a community bank that provides our customers user-friendly ways to remotely and safely make deposits in real time. We were looking for a vendor that would blend and work well with our current core provider’s software and we discovered IBT did that extremely well. The RDC product is easy to use. We have the remote and mobile deposit that is processed and settled everyday by our teller department. Pretty routine and easy to do and our customers love the product because of its ease of operations. Using IBT’s RDC software helps us to remain ‘The high tech bank with the hometown touch.’”

As a provider of cutting-edge solutions for community financial institutions, IBT also shares a commitment to relationships and servicing the needs of its customers in a cost-effective way – “The IBT difference.”

“In the case of Allied First, the difference is in the simplicity of the technology,” Golebiowski told Loyalty360. “This allows them to provide their customer the newest innovation available in digital capture of checks at a cost that is affordable for any size commercial customer.”
