Minneapolis-based U.S. Bank has partnered with Booking.com and Rocket Travel by Agoda, to introduce an enhanced travel booking platform for its credit cardholders. The new U.S. Bank Travel Center transforms the travel planning process through advanced booking technology and global travel expertise, streamlining the reservation experience when booking flights, hotels, and rental cars.
Head of U.S. Bank Retail Payment Solutions, Steve Mattics, said, “Whether paying for travel with points or cash, our cardholders will enjoy the convenience of planning their travel through a robust, easy-to-navigate online booking experience. Our cardholders’ travel planning and booking experience will be significantly enhanced with improved site navigation, cutting-edge technology, and the security and travel options that travelers demand today.”
The initiative is part of U.S. Bank’s ongoing commitment to improve its credit card rewards and benefits offerings. Cardholders will enjoy exclusive discounts through the new travel center as well as 24/7 customer service, and same-day booking options. Additionally, the platform will include new benefits and rewards, such as cash-back deals, merchant discounts, and Paze℠, which is a digital checkout solution that enhances security by using tokenization to protect card details.
Cardholders will also have access to an expanded range of travel options, thanks to Rocket Travel by Agoda, offering cardholders accessibility to more than 2.4 million properties worldwide through the Booking Holdings group of brands.
Senior Vice President of Rocket Travel by Agoda, Sara Moore, said, “Our technology unlocks the full potential of the Booking Holdings group of brands for U.S. Bank cardholders. Cardholders will find a transformed travel planning experience, more options, and deeper value in this new travel platform.”
