Chase Takes Customer Engagement to Next Level With Sapphire Reserve Card

Consumer expectations are escalating, seemingly, each and every day. It’s up to brands to keep up with the demand to ensure customer engagement and customer loyalty.

Chase Card Services, a division of JPMorgan Chase & Co., recently launched the Chase Sapphire Reserve credit card – the newest addition to the luxury credit card market. Chase Sapphire Reserve joins the suite of Chase Sapphire’s premier rewards cards and sets a new standard for credit card benefits, including 3X points on a wide range of travel and dining purchases, flexible redemption options, and valuable travel credits.

It was through listening to its customers that the Chase Sapphire Reserve credit card was launched.
“We know our customers love the Chase Sapphire Preferred card, and with Reserve, we are taking it to the next level,” Chase spokesperson Ashley Dodd told Loyalty360. “Our customers have high expectations and we meet them not only with rich rewards value and flexibility, but also the level of service and access to the experiences they desire.”

The Chase Sapphire Reserve card offers worldwide rewards on a broad list of travel purchases – from the more traditional airfare and hotels, to the less traditional taxis, trains, and travel within the “sharing economy.” The new card will be on the Visa Infinite platform - the most premium credit offering from Visa, offering the highest level of service, features and benefits that uniquely appeal to affluent card holders.

“The Sapphire Reserve card offers worldwide rewards and a wide-range of benefits, including 3x points on travel and dining purchases worldwide,” Dodd added. “Plus, points are worth 50% more when you redeem for travel through Chase Ultimate Rewards, and cardholders enjoy a $300 annual travel credit. The card goes beyond great points value to also offer card member VIP access to unique experiences such as behind the ropes access to award shows and exclusive dining events. From the premium travel benefits and rewards redemption flexibility, to elite access and 24/7 direct access to Chase Sapphire Reserve Customer Service Specialists, Sapphire Reserve is designed to enhance the overall experience of the card holder.”

Chase Sapphire Reserve card members earn 100,000 bonus points after spending $4,000 in the first three months – the highest premium currently offered through a Chase credit card. This is equivalent to $1,500 when redeemed for travel through Chase Ultimate Rewards.
