Verizon has announced a new multi-year partnership with the Green Bay Packers, designating Verizon as the official 5G mobile partner of the team. This collaboration aims to enhance cellular service in and around Lambeau Field, benefiting both the team’s operations and the fan experience. This partnership underscores Verizon’s commitment to innovation and community support in Wisconsin.
“By teaming up with Verizon, we can continue prioritizing investments in the stadium’s cellular network to ensure our fans can stay connected in gameday and every day,” said Packers President and CEO Mark Murphy.
With this new partnership, Lambeau Field has also named a gathering space the Verizon Loft. This climate-controlled space includes a full bar and Verizon charging stations. All ticketed guests can visit the space on gameday, to enjoy the game in a different space filled with television screens, tables, and chairs.
In conjunction with this partnership, Verizon and ForgiveCo have launched a Veteran Debt Relief Program targeting veterans in Wisconsin. The initiative focuses on eliminating consumer debt for veterans in a tangible way to honor their service. With over 8,000 veteran employees, Verizon has been nationally recognized as a Military Friendly company for seven consecutive years. Verizon also offers special discounts and offers to veterans and military members across the nation.
