Tasty Burger Sparks Customer Engagement Through Partnership with Fasten

Fenway Park is clearly one of Boston’s greatest venues and for Tasty Burger, which originated behind this historic landmark, sparking customer engagement and customer loyalty is the main goal from its partnership with Fasten, a locally-based ride-sharing service.

Tasty Burger and Fasten have teamed up to provide customers with an enticing offer: Riders can simply use the code TASTY before hailing a ride with Fasten—which gives them $20 off their first ride and a free burger from Tasty Burger.

New riders can download the Fasten app to their smart device from Apple’s App Store or the Google Play Store. 

Tasty Burger has six locations, five in Boston and one in Washington, D.C.

Tasty Burger CEO David DuBois told Loyalty360 that he’s very excited about the partnership.

“Our partnership with Fasten makes it easier for our loyal customers to access our delicious, all-natural burgers, allowing them an affordable and efficient way to get to our five Boston locations,” DuBois explained.
Fasten differentiates itself from other ridesharing services by treating its drivers as customers, not commodities. It is the only service that charges drivers a flat fee—a reasonable $0.99 per ride—rather than a 20%-30% commission per ride. Based in Boston, Fasten began operating in late 2015, added service in Austin, Texas on June 1, and has seen ridership increase 300% in the past two months as drivers and riders are choosing Fasten First.

The offer is valid at any Boston-area Tasty location, except the Fenway location or inside Fenway Park.

“Teaming up with a ride sharing app like Fasten is an easy decision,” DuBois added. “Fasten brings our customers to us in an efficient and affordable manner, and we reward their riders with one of our delicious, all-natural burgers. Pairing food with ride-sharing platforms is a mutually beneficial partnership that makes it even easier to access and enjoy our product.”
