These fans often follow the pursuits of their favorite characters across a wide range of channels and mediums including television, the big screen, comic books, action figures and numerous product lines of co-branded merchandise.
And now Marvel, one of the leading publishers of comic books and superhero related media, is joining forces with Synchrony Financial, a premier consumer financial services company and the nation’s largest provider of private label credit cards, to bring an exciting new customer experience to fans of the superhero genre.
The new partnership comes via a new Marvel MasterCard, which promises to let users unlock their super powers through a host of special benefits and excusive content.

In additional to receiving Marvel merchandise and special events, cardholders can also earn 3% cashback for purchases made on select entertainment and dining options, online at marvel.com and even for transactions made at Marvel’s official merchandise booths.
Furthermore, Marvel MasterCard members will also earn 1% cashback rewards on all other purchases, and they can enjoy special discounts by indulging their favorite superhero-related hobbies. For example, cardholders can get daily 10% discounts on all MarvelShop.com merchandise purchases. And during certain times of the year, they can also get free shipping on website-based purchases as well.
