Panda Express Cooks Up Partnership with NRG

Gaming and entertainment behemoth NRG has partnered with one of America’s top Asian restaurant chains, Panda Express. The collaboration will center on Rocket League and fuse the dynamic and competitive gaming world with Asian cuisine while leveraging customization and innovation. The Los Angeles-based esports company is noted for its high-octane gaming lifestyle content and is the most-viewed gaming organization worldwide. Meanwhile, Panda Express boasts more than 2,200 locations and is the largest Asian segment restaurant chain in the United States.

Through the deal, NRG and Panda Express will collaborate on projects ranging from brand integration across social media channels to contests and giveaways. Panda Express

will join NRG’s ‘Mission Control’ broadcast, featuring a new segment called the Panda Express Pre-Game. During the segment, commenters will analyze RLCS matches while eating meals provided by Panda Express.

Panda Express’ Vice President of Integrated Marketing Communications, Fabiola del Rio, emphasized the value of community in a statement: “Both of our brands recognize the importance of shared experiences in bringing communities together. Just as NRG forges connections through gaming, Panda Express invites guests to connect over good food. This partnership celebrates the inherent social nature of dining and gaming experiences, inviting fans to savor the thrill of victory and the deliciousness of American Chinese cuisine.”

Rodney Strong Vineyards Holds Second Sweepstakes for $2,500 e-Bike

Rodney Strong Vineyards is holding its second annual sustainability sweepstakes. Last year, the Sonoma County winemaker held its first sustainability-centric sweepstakes and awarded $60,000 to purchase an electric vehicle. This year’s offering is another prize centering around environmental initiatives — the company is awarding 15 winners $2,500 to buy an electric bicycle. The sweepstakes started on March 1, 2024, and continues through May 31.

Senior Vice President of Winemaking and Winegrowing at Rodney Strong Vineyards, Justin Seidenfeld, commented on the company’s sustainability commitment. “At Rodney Strong, we like to say sustainability is a journey. It is more than just a set of rules to follow; it’s a daily decision to be stewards of the land for generations to come. Helping people leverage e-bike technology is just another way we can take consumers on this journey with us — and for them to literally journey from place to place in a sustainable way.”

Rodney Strong Vineyards has been a trailblazer in sustainability initiatives within the wine industry for two decades. In 2002, the company installed the largest solar panel array at that time by a winemaker. Twenty years later, Rodney Strong Vineyards and its staff remain committed to sustainability in their winemaking process. The company utilizes innovative technology in its cellars to reduce water by 80% on the barrel wash line. Rodney Strong staff also fence in the company’s grapes in small blocks to facilitate wildlife corridors.
