Fetch Launches Fetch American Express Card

Fetch, the popular U.S. rewards app, is launching its first-ever credit card—the Fetch American Express® Card—powered by Imprint, set to debut in fall 2025. This new card offers an exciting way to boost rewards, giving users 10 Fetch Points per dollar spent on groceries and retail purchases, plus 5 points per dollar on all other spending, stacking with the points already earned through the Fetch app.

Cardholders will also enjoy exclusive access to the Fetch app’s Spin & Win feature, where every purchase unlocks a chance to spin for up to 1,200 bonus points. As part of the American Express network, the card provides additional perks like Amex Offers and Experiences, making it a comprehensive tool for everyday spending and special occasions.

The Fetch card has no annual fee and marks a strategic step for Fetch into the payments space. This launch complements the existing Fetch ecosystem, which rewards users through receipt scanning, shopping, gaming, and more, aiming to create an integrated, rewarding experience for its community.

McDonald’s Unveils McDonaldland Meal

McDonald’s is reviving the magical world of McDonaldland with the launch of the McDonaldland Meal, set to debut on August12,2025, at participating U.S. locations for a limited time. This nostalgic offering includes your choice of a Quarter Pounder with Cheese or a 10‑piece Chicken McNuggets, paired with World Famous Fries and the vibrant new Mt. McDonaldland Shake.

Each meal comes packaged in one of six collectible tins adorned with beloved McDonaldland characters—Ronald McDonald, Grimace, Birdie, Hamburglar, Mayor McCheese, and the Fry Friends. This marks the first full-scale reappearance of the McDonaldland characters in over two decades, aimed at rekindling memories for longtime fans while introducing a whimsical lore to newer generations.

In addition to the meal, McDonald’s is expanding the nostalgia through fashion and travel collaborations: a Pacsun clothing line launching August 12, and Away offering themed luggage tags and bag charms starting August 18. With limited availability and collectible appeal, the McDonaldland Meal aims to drive buzz and demand while celebrating the brand’s rich heritage.

Bath & Body Works Hits Campus: College Bookstore Launch

Bath & Body Works is making a notable shift beyond its traditional retail model by expanding into more than 600 college campus bookstores nationwide this August. After a successful spring pilot, Bath & Body Works is partnering with distributor ICM to roll out in-store displays at college campuses nationwide, including schools from community colleges to Ivy Leagues and large universities. This marks the brand’s first major retail expansion beyond its own stores.

The expansion is driven by Bath & Body Works' strategy to engage Gen Z shoppers directly where they already are, on campus. The displays will feature a curated selection of the brand’s most beloved fragrances and personal care essentials, including plug-in room diffusers and pocket hand sanitizers in popular scents like Japanese Cherry Blossom and Warm Vanilla Sugar.

“We are approaching this as something that we’re excited about doing, and we’re learning how to best meet this customer,” said Betsy Schumacher, Bath & Body Works Chief Merchandising Officer.
