NRF Announces The List of People Shaping Retail’s Future

The NRF Foundation announced the honorees of The List of People Shaping Retail’s Future 2023 – a dynamic group of retail leaders who will be celebrated at the NFR Foundation Honors. The honorees demonstrate the many pathways to success within retail and serve as a reminder that the industry provides meaningful opportunities to people of all backgrounds.

“We are especially proud to showcase the diversity that makes our industry unlike any other and highlight the success of retail professionals pursuing a variety of passions,” NRF Foundation Executive Director Bill Thorne said. “They are an inspiration not only to their peers, but also the future leaders of retail, and we look forward to celebrating The List.”

BitRail Provides Branded Loyalty Currencies

BitRail allows companies to brand their own loyalty currencies. The technology partner enables companies to use their own branded currencies within their customer loyalty programs. Many companies find themselves driving customers to third parties like credit cards when it is time to make a purchase with loyalty rewards. Not only are brands paying more for transactions, but they are also not able to capture purchase data.

BitRail helps partners create their own branded, regulated, digital payments (tokens and wallets). These branded tokens live next to other legacy payment options at checkout and are designed to drive sales and improve loyalty programs. The technology allows companies to keep their customers within their loyalty programs and not drive them away to third-party payment providers.
