AIR MILES Debuts Receipt-Scanning Technology for Bonus Rewards
Members of Canada’s largest loyalty coalition, the AIR MILES® Reward Program, can now earn bonus miles by scanning grocery receipts on their smartphones. The AIR MILES Receipts feature on the program app allows members to check for offers on select products at major grocery chains and scan their purchase receipts for bonus miles. The national rollout follows a soft launch in Atlantic Canada in June 2023.
"After the positive outcomes from our Atlantic launch earlier this year, we knew it was imperative to extend our Receipts program to collectors and partners nationwide," said Shawn Stewart, President, AIR MILES Reward Program. “We take immense pride in how AIR MILES Receipts makes it easy and convenient to earn bonus miles from grocery purchase receipts, and eagerly anticipate its sustained growth in times ahead.
AIR MILES Receipts uses AI technology to interpret receipts and automatically credit them to member accounts.
Casio Launches G-Shock Watch Customer Loyalty Program
Casio has launched a loyalty program for its G-Shock brand of premium sport watches. Members earn one point for every dollar spent, up to 1,000 points on each purchase. Points can be redeemed for G-Shock apparel and collector items. Members also receive early access to new releases and exclusive offers.

The company hosts an online portal for tracking and managing reward points.
JTV Rewards Customer Loyalty with New Program
The digital and broadcast jewelry retailer JTV® has launched its first customer loyalty program, JTV Rewards. Members earn 1% cashback on every purchase, redeemable on most merchandise. Earnings double to 2% on purchases made using JTV’s co-branded credit card.
Members receive early access to new products, invites to special events, and birthday rewards every year. They also earn $25 for every new customer they refer to JTV who makes a purchase of $49 or more.
JTV’s television network reaches approximately 80 million households in the U.S., and Canada.
