Yan Côté is the Director of Consumer Marketing at ExxonMobil, which is a finalist for the 2022 Loyalty360 Awards in the Customer Loyalty Strategy category. Cote has been with the company for 24 years and is accountable for all consumer loyalty programs, including Exxon Mobil Rewards+ and the propriety credit card, Exxon Mobil Smart Card+, as well as premium fuel products.



The company’s fuel rewards program offers consumers unique benefits with different ways to be rewarded far beyond cents off gasoline. By leveraging data, the brand is able to identify what consumers want in regard to incentives and rewards and offer more personalized communications and offerings.

Consumers have the option to earn rewards at the pump and in the store or both. With a variety of ways for members to save, it gives value to the total consumer experience. Exxon Mobil Rewards+ and the Exxon Mobile Smart Card+ offer its members more ways to save, plus relevant rewards that continue to evolve with consumer behaviors.
