Great Wolf Lodge is an indoor water park and resort with more than 20 locations across the U.S. The resort boasts themed suites, with various dining options and daily events designed to engage families and water park enthusiasts. The brand’s Voyagers Club loyalty program, powered by Marigold, offers members special deals to aid in planning their next visit. 

Great Wolf Lodge was selected as a finalist for the Customer Loyalty Strategy category for this year’s Loyalty360 Awards, which will be held at the Loyalty Expo June 4-6 in Orlando, FL. Mark Johnson, CEO of Loyalty360, spoke with Dave Van Saun, VP of CRM and Ancillary for Great Wolf Resorts, about his upcoming presentation.  
 

Could you give us a brief overview of your awards presentation that will be made at the 2024 Loyalty Expo?   

Van Saun: In my awards presentation, we will talk about the Great Wolf Lodge Voyagers program—how it’s constructed and how it’s a unique way to earn and use points at Great Wolf to experience everything we have to offer. 

Who do you think would benefit most from your award presentation at the conference?   

Van Saun: Anyone who is interested in innovative ways to engage with the customer would benefit from the presentation, as well as anyone who just likes to have fun. Maybe someone who has not yet experienced a Great Wolf Water Park! 

What are a few key takeaways attendees can expect to learn from your awards presentation?   

Van Saun: A few key takeaways are that we have a slightly unique program with interesting ways to earn. We also target our customers in intriguing ways. 

Number two is that it’s been a very successful program, and we’re going to continue to innovate in that space.
