Children’s luxury clothing brand Estella launched its first loyalty program on April 29 – the Estella Rewards Program. The new program allows shoppers to earn and redeem Estella Points at Estella-NYC. Those points can redeemed at Estella’s online children’s clothing boutique: http://www.estella-nyc.com/.
Shoppers can earn Estella Reward Points by opening a free account, shopping, and reviewing products. They can redeem points online for fashionable outfits, toys, and accessories.
Customers can easily enroll in the Estella Rewards Program by visiting the online boutique and opening a free account. Shoppers will earn their first 1000 Estella Points or $10 off simply for creating the account. Customers will earn 1 Estella Point for every $1 spent.
Chike Chukwulozie, co-owner of Estella, told Loyalty 360 that his 11-year-old company launched the program because customer loyalty is critical in the clothing industry.
“We're not selling widgets online, we're selling baby clothes and newborn gifts, items that shoppers are emotionally tied to and obviously care a great deal about,” Chukwulozie said. “And we’re a boutique so our shoppers expect personal service and a sense of community. The loyalty program will allow us to further the community outreach by rewarding and encouraging customers for engaging with us: shopping, liking our products on Facebook, and referring friends and family.”
Chukwulozie said Estella’s entire customer base and new customers are invited to join the program and receive an immediate $10 off reward for their first purchase.
“The program will be unique because we are planning on rewarding loyalty, not just with Estella Points, but we're working on partnering with select brands that can offer our customer base exclusive benefits and unusual access to their products and services,” he said.
Shoppers who review products online will earn another 15 Estella Points, Chukwulozie said. Customers who make referrals to friends and family will automatically acquire 10 points. Once those referrals sign up online, customers who referred them will obtain an extra 10 Estella Points. As soon as the referrals complete their first purchase, clients will acquire 15 more points. The final way for customers to earn points is to like an Estella page with Facebook. Customers who like Estella with Facebook will earn 2 Estella Points. Shoppers can redeem 100 points for every $1 they would like to spend at the site.
Chukwulozie wants to grow the program carefully.
“We want our community to stay engaged and to do that we have to make sure that as it grows, it will remain a loyal group who are truly passionate about our mission: children's clothing and gifts that have personality and character,” he said.
Chukwulozie believes the program will resonate with Estella’s customers because they are loyal to brands that they trust.
“Our customers like that and want to engage with us,” he said.
