There is no denying that loyalty programs are increasingly going digital. While some traditional paper and plastic card-based loyalty programs might still linger, the prominent trend is to engage mobile and social savvy digital users. This trend is only going to grow, and it is one that Hospitality Marketing Concepts and Marco Polo plan to embrace.
Hospitality Marketing Concepts, the world's leading full service customer loyalty solutions provider, has just partnered with Marco Polo Hotels, one of Hong Kong’s leading luxury hotel brands, to introduce an “industry-first” mobile app in conjunction with an all new Elite loyalty program.
By completely abolishing antiquated paper booklets and plastic cards, Marco Polo Elite will let members redeem digital e-certificates. The corresponding app, designed for both iPhone and Android devices, will allow users to make membership purchases, renewals, reserve rooms, make various bookings, and more.
Additional program benefits will also offer premier dining options, exclusive hotel rates, increased member recognition modes, and sophisticated on-site promotions, all of which can be accessed directly from a mobile phone.
Marco Polo Elite also promises to improve the hotel’s ability to offer a better customer experience through improved analytics and data intelligence.
"Marco Polo hotels in Hong Kong have a long-standing reputation of offering guests the ability to explore luxury experiences in sophisticated, locally inspired surroundings," said Mr. James Ong, General Manager of Marco Polo Hotels, Hong Kong. "The new Marco Polo Elite will enrich our most loyal guests' experiences by providing members with a greater array of exclusive benefits and privileges. Together with HMC's new mobile app, members can enjoy the benefits of membership at their fingertips."
Introduced on the heals of last year’s prestigious Ortigas Manila's Dining Privileges program, Marco Polo Elite demonstrates the brand’s enduring commitment to continually innovative the customer experience.
"We recognize the need for Marco Polo hotels in Hong Kong to provide their guests with the recognition and privileges they deserve," said Mokhtar Ramadan, CEO of Hospitality Marketing Concepts. "HMC is committed to ensuring the new programs' success while creating an innovative program which complements the ever-growing digital mobile world. Together with Marco Polo hotels in Hong Kong, HMC will deliver on our mission to provide world-class loyalty programs to luxury hotel brands around the world. We will continue to customize our private-labeled paid membership programs so they perfectly compliment and cater to the needs of today's smart luxury travelers."
The new Marco Polo Elite program will give members the ability to receive exclusive privileges at three luxurious hotels including Marco Polo Hongkong Hotel, Gateway Hotel, and Prince Hotel.
Plans to expand the program to additional hotels are already underway.
