Eurobonus Prepaid WalletImagine earning valuable loyalty program points almost anywhere, with just the swipe of a card, and being able to effortlessly switch between international currencies in the process. It may seem like a dream for international travelers seeking a high degree of flexibility, convenience, and value. But it is becoming a reality thanks to a new trio of partnerships.

This partnership consists of Rêv Partners, Scandinavian Airlines (SAS), and Catella Bank, which will team up to offer a loyalty program that promises to be the first of its kind. It’s being called Europe’s first multi-currency prepaid wallet and it will seamlessly integrate with Scandinavian Airlines, the largest airline in Scandinavia, to allow consumers to earn EuroBonus points.

But in addition to allowing users to earn EuroBonus points anywhere MasterCard is accepted, the reloadable prepaid card will also act as an instant digital currency exchange. After loading the card with funds, users can easily convert those funds into 11 available currencies with a corresponding mobile app.

This not only provides an unparalleled level of convenience, it also lets travelers lock in exchange rates at any time.EuroBonus partnership

“We are proud to continue our efforts to make life easier and delivering more value and convenience for our 4 million members, and this product reinforces our commitment to do so before, during, and after their journey,” said Nils Lindhe, Head of SAS EuroBonus.

EuroBonus members certainly have a reason to be excited. As one of the leading Nordic frequent flier programs, EuroBonus members can collect and redeem points for flights, hotel rooms, restaurants, resort stays, car rentals and a wide range of everyday items.

SAS chose Rêv Worldwide, a payments processing and product innovations company, because of its technological acumen and substantial experience with similar multi-currency processing platforms. Rêv Worldwide has also worked with Air New Zealand, Virgin Australia, and Etihad Airways.

“We are looking forward to helping SAS develop a deeper relationship with their members by expanding their membership value further,” said Bertrand Sosa, President, Rêv Worldwide.

Currently available to members in Denmark, Finland, Norway, and Sweden, the multi-currency prepaid wallet and EuroBonus loyalty card is slated for a wider release later this year.
