TouchTunes Unveils New Mobile App for Enhanced Social Music Experience
The interactive North American music and entertainment platform TouchTunes has launched a revamped mobile app to transform the social music experience in bars and restaurants. The new app highlights the company’s ongoing innovation and commitment to creating joyful, shared entertainment experiences. It allows users to engage with the jukebox in real-time, reinforcing the social aspect of music by enabling patrons to share reactions to songs played within the venue.
TouchTunes Executive Chairman Charles Goldstuck said, “At TouchTunes, we believe in the power of music and in-person experiences. Unlike apps that encourage solitary listening, our products create moments of shared joy. Our platform brings people together with the perfect song for any mood, whether celebrating a special occasion, competing in a darts league, or simply sharing a drink with friends. In today’s world, people are craving human connection more than ever. There’s no better place to find it than a TouchTunes restaurant, bar, or social club.”
The updated app features a fresh design that appeals to a new generation of music enthusiasts. One of the new features is the Social Reactions function, which allows users to react with emojis to songs being played, offering instant feedback on music choices. Additionally, the app includes an in-app loyalty program, where users earn credits for playing songs. In addition to enhanced social features, the new app offers improved functionality with better search options, curated playlists, and the ability to create personalized playlists across various genres. Users can also explore an interactive map to find venues that match their desired vibe, making it easier to plan nights out with friends. Looking ahead, TouchTunes plans to integrate a cashless mobile payment system called TouchTunes Pay, enabling users to pay for in-venue games like BullShooter electronic darts directly from the app. The new app is now available on iPhone and will soon be accessible for Android users.
