Taco Bell Customers Can Now Pay Through Venmo and PayPal

Taco Bell has rolled out PayPal and Venmo as new payment options within its app and website, allowing customers to set either as their default checkout method. This move is aimed at offering faster, more flexible, and more secure payment options to a tech-savvy customer base.

In tandem with the launch, PayPal is offering a summer promotion: users can receive 20% cash back (up to $10 per transaction) on Taco Bell orders over $5, redeemable weekly through July 31st. Additionally, PayPal Debit Mastercard holders earn an extra 5% cash back if they select ‘restaurants’ as their monthly category.

PayPal’s general manager Diego Scotti emphasized that the partnership adds choice, rewards, and convenience, reinforcing PayPal and Venmo’s integration into everyday spending. To take part, customers simply need to save the Taco Bell offer in PayPal’s Deals tab, order via Taco Bell’s platform, and use PayPal or Venmo to check out – cash back appears in their PayPal account post-purchase.

Caesars Entertainment Launches Remote Reels

Caesars Entertainment has unveiled Remote Reels™, a new feature that allows Caesars Palace Online Casino players to spin real slot machines on the casino floor of Tropicana Atlantic City from their mobile or desktop devices. The live-slot studio, housed in a glass-enclosed area within the casino, features 25 physical slot machines from top manufacturers like Light & Wonder and Artisocrat. This innovation is designed to replicate the excitement and authenticity of an in-person casino experience, delivering it directly to online players 21 and older.

Developer in partnership with iGaming tech firm Awager, Remote Reels uses remote-to-cabinet gameplay to give users real-time control over actual slot machines. Players can engage with popular game titles such as ‘Buffalo Triple Boost’ and ‘Mo’ Mummy Valley of Riches’ through a seamless digital experience.

“We’re proud to showcase this immersive space in the heart of our casino and give our online players the thrill of Atlantic City from the comfort of their own homes,” said Joseph Giunta, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Tropicana Atlantic City.

Auntie Anne’s Rolls Out New Modular Store Redesign

Auntie Anne’s is undergoing a major brand refresh with a modular, digital-forward store design tailored to Gen Z and Millennial preferences. The redesign features a bold new logo with a pretzel-shaped “A,” deeper blues, and visually engaging elements like dough-rolling stations that emphasize craftsmanship. Enhanced mobile capabilities, dynamic digital menu boards, and playful interior messaging are designed to boost convenience and emotional connection for modern consumers.

Flexibility is at the heart of the new format, allowing Auntie Anne’s to adapt across various environments—from traditional mall spaces to streetside, co-branded, and nontraditional venues like airports and stadiums. Modular equipment and lower startup costs help franchisees customize layouts, improve order efficiency, and reduce investment barriers. Feedback from franchise partners played a major role in shaping the redesign, with about 150 remodeled or newly designed locations expected to open by the end of 2025.

The updated brand direction aligns with growing consumer demand for snackable, experiential food options, especially among those under 40. GoTo Foods President Mike Freeman highlights the balance between nostalgia and innovation, stating that franchisees are showing strong enthusiasm for growth through flexible formats.
