Body Scanners Coming to LA Metro
Millimeter wave scanners are coming to LA metro. We don’t know what that means either. However, we do know what they will be doing. The scanners, "will help detect weapon and explosive device security threats on the county's transit system," according to the LA Transit Authority. At $100,000 each, the scanners do not use radiation to scan people, instead using the radiation emitted by humans to do the scanning.....
