Congratulations to the winners of the inaugural Loyalty360 Awards presented March 17 at Loyalty360’s 7th Annual Loyalty Expo at the Hyatt Grand Cypress in Orlando, Florida.

Thirty-five finalists representing some of the world’s top brands were chosen from a field of more than 62 original contestants. The winners were selected among six categories and for the overall, best-in-show “360 Degree Loyalty Award.”

“I couldn’t be more pleased with the way these awards have been enthusiastically embraced and taken on by some of the top brands out there,” said Loyalty360 CEO Mark Johnson. “The field of competitors was strong. These brands knew that the awards were being objectively judged and wanted to really see where they stand in the marketplace.”

The award winners are:

  • Best Reward Program, Platinum Winner—Raley’s Family of Fine Stores; Gold Winner— KeyBank for the Relationship Rewards program; Silver Winner— Global Hotel Alliance; Bronze Winner— Express Fashions
  • Best Customer Experience & Engagement., (tie) Raley’s Family of Fine Stores and AT&T, Gold Winner— La Société de transport de Montreal’s STM Merci; Silver Winner— Iron Tribe Fitness; Bronze Winner— Longo’s Thank You Rewards program
  • Best Technology in Loyalty Marketing, Platinum Winner—Raley’s Family of Fine Stores; Gold Winner— Longo’s Thank You Rewards program; Silver Winner—(tie) Best Western for their Best Western Rewards program and La Société de transport de Montreal for their STM Merci loyalty and rewards program; Bronze Winner—Air Canada

The awards recognize the innovation and effectiveness of the world’s best customer loyalty programs. A panel of 21 judges representing top-level marketing was assembled by the Loyalty360 team. This large pool of talent was chosen to provide an accurate assessment of each entry based on the strict scoring guidelines for the awards.

“It’s been a pleasure to be a judge of the inaugural Loyalty360 Awards,” said Jane Ricciardelli, Chief Marketing Officer at Exchange Solutions. “I found the judging process to be very well organized, allowing me to focus on the quality of the submissions and provide accurate scores for each of the categories I reviewed.”

Any company with a customer loyalty program was invited to enter the competition. This open-door policy increased competition and added increased level of legitimacy to the inaugural awards.

“Loyalty360 prides itself on being the Loyalty Marketer’s Association,” said Emily Heitkamp, Loyalty360’s Senior Director of Content and Business Development. “These are the awards loyalty marketers have been asking us to provide, and we’re proud to deliver such a competitive field this first time out."
