TrueCar Partners with GasBuddy to Introduce ‘TrueCar for GasBuddy’

TrueCar, Inc. a leading automotive digital marketplace, has announced a new partnership with GasBuddy to launch ‘TrueCar for GasBuddy’, a car buying program designed specifically for GasBuddy’s 20 million annual users. This initiative will enable users to browse and purchase vehicles directly through the GasBuddy app and website, giving them access to TrueCar’s extensive network of over 11,000 certified dealers nationwide.  As an incentive, GasBuddy users who complete a purchase through a certified TrueCar dealer within 45 days will receive 50,000 GasBuddy reward points.

Jay Ku, Chief Revenue Officer at TrueCar, emphasized the natural alignment between the two companies, noting that GasBuddy users are highly engaged, tech-savvy consumers who seek value throughout their automotive journey. The partnership brings together TrueCar’s seamless, transparent car-buying platform and GasBuddy’s loyal user base, creating a streamlined solution for drivers looking to make confident, informed vehicle purchases.

GasBuddy, known for providing real-time fuel pricing at over 150,000 stations nationwide, also offers features like personalized vehicle offers and gas rewards programs. The new partnership enhances the user experience by extending GasBuddy’s value-driven approach to the car-buying process. Through targeted email and in-app communications, users will now be directed to a convenient and transparent car shopping experience powered by TrueCar.

This collaboration is part of TrueCar’s expanding Affinity program, which includes over 250 partnerships with organizations such as Sam’s Club, Uber, and Navy Federal Credit Union. The GasBuddy integration further extends TrueCar’s mission to make car buying easier and more rewarding for millions of consumers through trusted, partner-based channels.
