SCENE Teams Up with Sport Chek in Loyalty Program Partnership

Sports and loyalty points – a match made in Canada.

Canada’s premier entertainment loyalty provider SCENE recently partnered with Sport Chek in a strategic marketing venture. The mid-November launch is set to include over 180 retail locations, 1,100 Scotiabank branches, and 160 Cineplex theaters. The program will reach six million members of SCENE, Canada’s fastest growing loyalty program.

“The addition of our first major, long-term retail partner is a milestone achievement for SCENE,” Shawn Bloom, General Manager, SCENE LP, said in a release. “Our members are social seekers – fans of movies, entertainment and pop culture, but are also overwhelmingly active and engaged in sport. We know the addition of Sport Chek to our program will be a huge hit with members.”

SCENE loyalty members will have the opportunity to earn and redeem points for products in a number of ways:

  • Earn one SCENE reward point per dollar spent at Sport Chek
  • $10 off every thousand SCENE points redeemed
  • Additional special offers for free entertainment, as well as points on brand promotions at Sport Chek

In addition to point rewards, SCENE members will be able to potentially earn access to sporting events, special VIP events with sports celebrities and more.

Through the program, Sport Chek hopes to also attract new customers to the brand and showcase a positive and active lifestyle through sports.

SCENE was initially started as an entertainment-based loyalty program, but the inclusion of Sport Chek grants the program a broader access to Canadian leisure and game activities.
