In a move to benefit both parties, American Express will be integrated into the checkout process of Newegg. With the integration, American Express will tap into the enormous number of Newegg users to build upon their Membership Rewards points-based loyalty program.
Newegg is a giant in the world of electronics, and is the largest tech-focused ecommerce platform in the U.S. The site boasts more than 28 million users and has been in operation since 2001. These site traffic numbers further underline the magnitude of integrating American Express Membership Rewards Points into the shopping experience, and represents an enormous spike in point redemption for the financial institution.
While American Express has been accepted on Newegg for years, Membership Rewards members are now able to pay for part (or all) of their online order using points. This collaboration between the companies is yet another piece to the Newegg online customer experience, one that has already earned Newegg immense respect as an online retailer.

Because of its prominence within PC gaming communities, Newegg cannot slack on any part of their online customer experience.
