New AMC Loyalty Program Pulls in Huge Number of Movie Goers

AMC Theaters recently announced its new loyalty program tier, AMC Stubs A-List. Seven weeks after launch, the company reports that the tier has produced more than 1 million movie attendances. AMC also reports that 260,000 members have enrolled, 85,000 of which have joined in the past two weeks.   A-List members now account for more than 5 percent of AMC’s weekly attendance, and about 40 percent of A-List moviegoers have purchased additional tickets to see more than the allotted three movies per week.   At the time....
