Torchy’s Tacos Launches Annual Gift Card Sale with Exclusive Rewards

The restaurant chain Torchy’s Tacos has launched its annual Holiday Gift Card Celebration, giving customers the chance to obtain the sought-after Torchy’s Tacos Gold Card. The limited-edition card grants cardholders one free order of the brand’s Green Chile Queso with every in-store purchase through December 31.

For every $25 spent on Torchy Tacos gift cards, customers receive a free $5 bonus gift card, valid from January 1 to March 31. Customers earn a $25 bonus card for every $100 spent. For every $250 spent on gift cards, customers get a Torchy’s Tacos Gold Card.

The company says each of its 117 locations has an equal number of Torchy’s Tacos Gold Cards on hand, and the promotion will end when the current supply runs out.

Popeyes Brings Loyalty Program to Canada

The quick-service chain Popeyes has launched its Popeyes Rewards loyalty program in Canada. Customers can sign up for the new program on the brand’s app and website.

Members earn ten reward points for every $1 spent and receive exclusive offers. Points are redeemable for popular menu items. Through December 31, members will receive 1,000 bonus points on their first mobile order, enough for a free chicken sandwich.

“We're always looking for ways we can provide added value to our loyal guests,” said Rob Manuel, General Manager at Popeyes Canada. “That's why we're thrilled to take their relationship with Popeyes to the next level with the arrival of our new digital loyalty program.

Giant Eagle Merges Standalone Fuel Rewards with Main Loyalty Program

The grocery chain Giant Eagle will end its fuelperks+ program and transfer members to the brand’s myPerks loyalty program on January 25. The outgoing fuelperks+ offers 10 cents off per gallon of gas or 2% off a grocery order for every 50 points redeemed. Under the myPerks programs, members can stack rewards for up to 30 gallons of free gas and 20% off grocery orders.

“We are merging the best benefits of fuelperks+ and myPerks into a single loyalty program,” the company said in an announcement, “but with the added choice of dollar rewards delivering great savings on groceries and gas.”

Last month, Giant Eagle released the myPerks Visa credit card, which allows members to earn gas and grocery rewards on purchases made at other merchants.
