Mercedes-Benz Installs EV Charging Stations at Buc-ee’s Locations Nationwide  

Mercedes-Benz HPC North America has announced plans to install EV charging stations at Buc-ee’s travel centers nationwide. The partnership advances the automaker’s goal of establishing a national EV charging network. Mercedes-Benz says about 30 stations will be operational by the end of 2024.  

Located along major travel routes, Buc-ee’s locations sell fuel, fresh food, souvenirs, and assorted travel items. Anchored by 34 locations in Texas, the chain embarked on a multi-state expansion in 2019 and now has 12 locations in other states.

Athleta Enhances Customer Experience with Live Event Series   

The women’s fitness apparel brand Athleta has announced a new live event series to expand the customer experience. Move with Athleta will feature celebrity fitness influencers, co-branded giveaways, surprise guests, and unique product offerings.  

The series debuts November 16 at destinations in New York City, including the Soho shopping district and the Wollman ice rink in Central Park. Move with Athleta will make stops in Los Angeles, Miami, Boston, and San Francisco in 2024.

As part of the New York debut, Altheta is donating $10,000 to the nonprofit organization Figure Staking In Harlem.  
 

Pieology Adds New Loyalty Tier with Daily Deals  

The pizza chain Pieology has enhanced its Pie Life Rewards program with a new tier that entitles members to daily deals. Customers with Pies and Perks status can receive a perk of their choice every day with the purchase of a Craft Your Own Pizza. Available perks include a free side salad, cookie, or drink.   

All rewards members enjoy Pies and Perks status through December 31. If a member purchases a Create Your Own Pizza by that date, Pieology will extend the status through the end of 2024.
