Coors Light Announces Beer Made with Ice the Hockey Championship Was Played On
The Tampa Bay Lightning dominated the Championship Final, leaving it all on the ice and taking home their second consecutive championship. To celebrate, Coors Light, an official beer of the Tampa Bay Lightning, is making the first-ever beer made with the actual ice the Hockey Final was played on – called Champions Ice. Dedicated fans may not be able to celebrate on the ice with their favorite players, but now thanks to Coors Light, they can celebrate by drinking the ice that their team won on.

During the Final, Coors Light quietly scraped and collected the actual ice from the rink and transported it all the way to its hometown brewery in Golden, Colorado to craft the game-winning Champions Ice brew. Coors Light will be filtering the ice during the brewing process, ensuring a refreshing, fully purified drinking experience for those lucky enough to get their hands on the special-edition brew.
