DIGIORNO® Launches Pizza Rescue Program on Pi Day
Pizza lovers, DIGIORNO® has got you covered. The next time your pizza delivery or take-out order goes wrong, the brand’s “DIGIORNO Pizza Rescue Program” will be there for you. Hungry customers simply need to upload a picture of their ruined pizza to the pizza rescue site to earn a DIGIORNO® pizza coupon. In a fun twist, the amount of the coupon will reflect the damage done to the take-out or delivered pie.
“Many of us have experienced the frustration of getting a pizza delivered or picking one up for carry-out and transporting it home to only open it up to find it damaged. We want to relieve that disappointment by offering discounts to consumers in hopes we can make their pizza nights less stressful and more delicious,” says Kimberly Holowiak, Senior Brand Manager for DIGIORNO.
The pizza rescue campaign begins on Pi Day — March 14 — and runs through April 11. DIGIORNO® is leveraging AI-powered technology to evaluate uploaded images of destroyed carry-out and delivered pizzas. Following assessment, site users will be presented with a DIGIORNO® pizza coupon ranging from $1 to $2 off their next DIGIORNO® pizza purchased at a store.
