Loyalty360 Reads: August 24: Amazon Tests Video App, Hanky Panky Opens First Store, and More

Amazon Tests Tik-Tok-Like Video Feed App
Amazon is testing a Tik-Tok-like feed on its app that allows users to scroll through videos and photos of products purchased by others. Using the feature, called Inspire, customers can like, save and share posts of products, and purchase items directly from the feed.

In its current form, the experimental feed mostly shows photos, but if the feature is rolled out, it will most likely be video-heavy as Amazon sellers create content to make it more engaging for customers.
