AMC Theatres® Offers Half-Off Popcorn for National Popcorn Day
All AMC guests will receive 50% off in-theatre, traditional popcorn at all U.S. AMC locations for National Popcorn Day on Jan. 19, 2023. The discount is available at the register or through the online concessions order process.
Members of AMC’s rewards program — AMC Stubs — have a free refill on large popcorn every day of the year. Additionally, AMC Stubs A-List and Premiere members will receive a free upsize on popcorn and fountain soda purchases.
Tropical Smoothie Cafe® Achieves New Milestones
Tropical Smoothie experienced its 11th consecutive year of positive growth, with 158 cafe openings and 258 franchise agreements in 2022. In addition to opening the stores, the restaurant chain hit several milestones, including its first airport location and double drive through location.
Part of the growth also came from improvements to the Tropic Rewards® program, introducing a new structure to benefit loyal customers. The brand focused on increasing its digital presence through strategic partnerships and member exclusive, digital-only menu items.
Red Robin Pauses Donatos Expansion Plan
Red Robin announced it will pause its expansion of Donatos offerings to focus on its own comeback this year. Red Robin partnered with Donatos in 2018 to offer the pizza in a few dozen restaurants, leading to further expansions and incremental growth.
After G.J. Hart was named president and CEO of Red Robin, he decided to pause expanding the Donatos offering to all Red Robin locations. Instead, he wants to focus on investing in current assets first, rolling out the Donatos expansion at a later, undetermined date.
