Advance Auto Parts Hosts $50,000 Giveaway 

Advance Auto Parts will give $50,000 to a local NASCAR-sanctioned short track as part of its Advance My Track Challenge. The challenge allows fans to vote for their local track using the AdvanceMyTrack.com website. 

Advance Auto Parts will give each of the five finalist tracks $5,000 with the highest voted track winning the grand prize of $50,000. Track are encouraged to use the money for upgrades or to establish programming with schools and nonprofits. 

 

NatureSweet® Pilots Program to Help Agricultural Workers Earn Degrees 

NatureSweet® launched an initiative to help its agricultural workers earn bachelor’s degrees. The pilot will start with workers from the company’s Zapotlán, Mexico facility. 

The program — called “Unleashing Your Power” — will cover the majority of the costs associated with earning the degree. For the degree program, NatureSweet partnered with Tecnológico de Tlajomulco. The pilot cohort of the program will graduate in 2028. 

 

Dine Brands Names New Chief People Officer 

Dine Brands Global Inc. named Sarah Cannon-Foster as its new chief people officer. Cannon-Foster will assume the role for the parent company of brands like Applebees and IHOP on Apr. 17, 2023. 

Cannon-Foster has over 30 years of experience in human resources, in both the retail and hospitality industries. She will bring her extensive experience to the Dine Brands leadership team to help with their team member related initiatives.
