Dave And Busters Customer ExperienceWhen it comes to superior customer engagement and customer experience, Dave & Buster’s has some lofty goals.

During its third-quarter conference call earlier this week, the first one as a public equity issuer, officials for Dave & Buster’s touted its distinctive customer value proposition known as Eat Drink Play and Watch.

CEO Steve King said that the dynamic interaction between playing games, watching sports, dining, and enjoying full service bar areas is the defining feature of Dave & Buster’s customer experience, according to a Seeking Alpha transcript.

“We attract a diverse customer base by providing a highly customizable experience in a dynamic and fun setting,” King said. “Our primary target customers are a balanced mix of men and women between the ages of 21 and 39, but we know this target has broad shoulders to include families as well as older adults.”

King outlined several initiatives designed to increase customer visits and encourage guests to participate more fully across the company’s broad range of food, beverage, and entertainment offerings.

“We’re continuously working with game manufacturers and our food and beverage suppliers so that we can introduce new games throughout the year and develop new menu items at compelling prices to improve the overall Eat Drink Play and Watch experience,” King explained.

Games are the key brand differentiator, King said.

“We plan to continue to have three concentrated introduction of new games, updating approximately 10% of our game feature,” he said.
