Hilton Customer ExperienceTraveling can be stressful and exhausting, and both hotels and airports have been trying to mitigate these customer experiences for decades. Hilton has always prided itself for being a leader in this regard. For neatly 100 years, Hilton Hotels & Resorts has tried to provide a memorable customer experience for travelers all around the world.

Starting in 1959, Hilton also began extending this degree of high quality service to air travelers by launching the original airport hotel. Since then, Hilton has significantly extended its reach into this space. And today it continues to build upon its vision of what a modern air travel customer experience can be.Hilton Customer Experience

This was most recently demonstrated by the opening of the all-new Hilton Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, which promises to redefine the airport hotel concept by providing a customer experience through an array of iconic cubic designs, stunning interiors and luxurious comforts.

"Innovation is in our blood – from being the first hospitality company to install televisions in guest rooms to introducing digital check-in with room selection via the Hilton HHonors app – and that pioneering spirit lives on as our brand nears its 100th anniversary,” said Rob Palleschi, global head of full service brands for Hilton Worldwide. “The new Hilton Amsterdam Airport Schiphol is all about challenging expectations and we look forward to giving guests a new type of airport hotel experience through our stylish design, unique F&B offerings and world-class service and amenities.”

Mecanoo, the celebrated Dutch architects, and The Gallery HBA, an acclaimed British interior design company, created Hilton’s Amsterdam Airport Schiphol hotel. The unique cubic design showcases a 42-metre high glazed roof. Work from Spanish artist Israel Páez also permeates spaces throughout the establishment, and takes the form of story-telling tile walls and a series of captivating Dutch landscapes.

The public hotel spaces also promise to offer a unique customer experience. Through an innovative single open-plan area, unique “islands” create versatile spaces that act as a reception area, lounge, bar and more. Amsterdam Airport Schiphol hotel also supports a wide range of specialty Netherlands-based beverage selections, a star gazing atrium, eforea spa, and it even allows guests to participate in the Hilton HHonors loyalty program.

“Last year alone, more than 55 million passengers visited Amsterdam Airport Schiphol so it gives us great pleasure to be able to provide upscale, design-conscious accommodation, spa and meeting facilities, as well as a wide selection of globally inspired food and beverage options, ensuring that the new hotel is a first choice for business and leisure travellers,” said Simon Vincent, Executive VP of Hilton Worldwide Europe, Middle East and Africa.
