For St. Patrick’s Day 2023, Guinness will give $10,000 to 100+ entrants across the U.S. for its Guinness St. Patrick’s Day Toast contest. Up to two people in each state will win based on their submitted toasts.
To enter, contestants can submit a 30-second video of a toast they give to celebrate friends, family, and the spirit of the holiday at Toast.Guinness.com. Entrants must be over the age of 21 to submit.
“After the last few years, we’re all tired of staying put — of settling. This is our moment to start surging together again, as Guinness has for centuries, says Mark Phillips, Head of Beer & Hard Seltzer at Diageo North America.
In addition to the giveaway, Guinness will use new technology to convert Chicago revelers’ footsteps into energy. The brand will then match the energy generated with donation hours in service of its Guinness Gives Back 1M Hours Pledge.
