Erin Levzow from Del Taco spoke about being a finalist for the 2021 Loyalty360 Awards in the Customer Loyalty Strategy category that will be given during Loyalty Expo in October.

Del Taco is an American-style Mexican fast-food chain that also specializes in providing a variety of American foods at over 600 locations in the country. As the second-largest Mexican quick-service restaurant in the nation, Del Taco focuses on giving guests the best quality food for their money each time they serve their 3 million+ customer base on a weekly basis. 




Levzow spoke with Loyalty360 CEO Mark Johnson about Del Taco’s latest method to enhance customer loyalty to their brand: the Del Taco app, which features their new “Del Yeah!” rewards program. This program marks a significant attempt from Del Taco to fully expand into the digital world, a growing trend within the QSR industry.  
The “Del Yeah” loyalty program allows Del Taco to achieve its goal of leaving customers satisfied and appreciated via various promotions and plenty of freebies, says Levzow. Members who sign up are instantly greeted with two free Del Tacos, signaling the company’s gratitude to loyal consumers. Members also have access to different interactive tiers of loyalty as they continue to eat at Del Taco, anywhere from the Queso, Scorcho, Inferno, and Epic tiers, which provides a personalized experience not often seen in other loyalty program offerings. Del Taco has connected with customers innovatively and positively with little marketing, showing the true value they continue to offer nationwide.
