CITGO Petroleum Corporation has unveiled a significant enhancement to its Club CITGO ® loyalty program with the introduction of Premier Status, aimed at providing greater rewards for its most loyal customers. This new tier offers members an additional $0.03 off per gallon discount, which can be combined with existing monthly and bonus day offers, thereby increasing potential savings at the pump.
Club CITGO members will automatically qualify for Club Status, where they can earn $0.03 per gallon reward on every fuel purchase, up to 30 gallons. Premier Status members, however, will receive double the savings, earning $0.06 off per gallon on every fill-up.
These rewards can stack with other fuel savings in the Club CITGO account, including,
- Triple Tuesday: Members can triple their everyday fuel reward on one Tuesday each month.
- Friday Savings: Members will receive an additional $0.02 off per gallon on one Friday of each month.
To attain Premier Status, Club CITGO members must complete 12 qualifying purchase of at least eight gallons each within a calendar quarter. Once achieved, this status is maintained for the remainder of the current quarter and the following quarter.
CITGO has observed a positive correlation between increased fuel sales and the penetration of its loyalty program. By offering enhanced rewards through its Premier Status, the company aims to incentivize repeat business and strengthen customer relationships. The Club CITGO app facilitates this process by allowing members to track their fuel purchases and monitor their progress toward achieving Premier Status, thereby enhancing user engagement and satisfaction.
