Chipotle Mexican Grill is introducing a new digital-exclusive menu item, “Build-Your-Own Chipotle,” designed to serve four to six people. The new menu option started being served on August 26, and customers can now order a customizable meal kit through the Chipotle app or website.

Build-Your-Own-Chipotle features a spread of fresh, real ingredients in family-sized portions, allowing customers to build their own bowls, salads, tacos, or even creative items like nachos. Each order includes one protein, one type of rice, one kind of beans, and a premium side like guacamole or Queso Blanco. Customers can also choose three salsas or other topping options, plus shredded lettuce, cheese, soft taco tortillas, two large bags of chips, and all necessary utensils and bowls for six people.

Chipotle President and Chief Strategy & Technology Officer Curt Garner said, “For the first time ever, guests can use our digital ordering channels, the Chipotle app and Chipotle.com, to bring a personalized Chipotle makeline to their kitchen with just a few taps. This is an innovation that brings people together around the food they love.”

Chris Brandt, Chipotle’s President and Chief Brand Officer, said, “As students and families settle into the back-to-school routine, ‘Build-Your-Own Chipotle’ makes it easier than ever for parents, coaches, and hosts to serve food they can feel good about at a great value. We want to make it even easier to Groupotle and are offering guests $10 off* to try it.”

To celebrate the launch, Chipotle is offering $10 off the first “Build-Your-Own Chipotle” order for a limited time. Through October 21 (or until 500,000 redemptions are reached), customers can use the code TRYBYOC at checkout via the app or Chipotle.com. In addition to this new family meal, Chipotle continues to offer traditional catering services for larger gatherings of 10 or more and a Group Order feature that lets multiple people contribute to one combined order.
