If you’re traveling on one of the world’s best airlines, there’s a good chance your customer experience journey will be as memorable as your destination. Especially, if you’re flying Air New Zealand.

AirlineRatings.com has announced its top airlines in multiple categories for 2015, and when it comes to exceptional customer engagement, Air New Zealand flies the highest. According to the website, the airline is an industry trendsetter; a textbook example of how to deliver an experience that builds customer loyalty and engagement.

“Air New Zealand’s focus on its staff has resulted in exceptional performance across the airline in market position, customer service, financial performance, fiscal management, and operational safety,” said Geoffrey Thomas, editor-in-chief of AirlineRatings.com.

This is the second consecutive year the airline has been honored; chosen tops by the editorial team at airlinesrating.com – the only that offers safety and product ratings. The team chose Air New Zealand because of its focus on the customer experience and for delivering value that has resulted in higher yields for staff and shareholders.

AirlineRatings.com’s annual ratings are highly anticipated by the airline industry.

Other 2015 winners include:

JetBlue

JetBlue was tops for the Best Low Cost Airline. The airline, a recent Loyalty360 CX Award winner, offers an exceptional customer experience and balances this with low prices.

Other winners in this category included Scoot (Asia/Pacific), Kulula (Middle East/Africa), and Norwegian (Europe).

Thomas said that, while these airlines may not always offer the least expensive fare, but they “do deliver the best value.” And he said that these airlines make it possible for those who could not otherwise afford to fly to finally see new parts of the world.

Etihad Airways

The young airline, based in Abu Dhabi earned the Best First Class award for its breathtakingly luxurious first class offerings.
