Rearden Commerce today announced it has partnered with SuperShuttle Inc., the nation’s largest airport ground transportation company, to power a new online and mobile offering called “Destination Deals.”
Destination Deals will provide SuperShuttle customers with highly personalized deals on goods and services designed to foster customer retention and engagement. These customized deals are sourced from Rearden Commerce’s Deem™ platform, which currently has more than 1.2 million local and national merchants – ranging in category from dining, entertainment and travel to shopping, wellness and beauty. Available at the end of March, SuperShuttle customers will have access to Destination Deals when it is most contextually relevant to their users’ needs through a variety of touch points each year including SuperShuttle’s website, social media properties and even right on a customer’s reservation confirmation email.
These customers will be able to reap savings whether they are on the road for business or pleasure – with deals for event tickets, restaurant, nightlife, and more included – or even at home with deals on everyday purchases – everything from food to beauty treatments to carpet cleaning. By drawing on behavioral data, personal preferences and location, the Deem platform will match the ideal Destination Deals for each SuperShuttle customer.
“We are always looking for ways to add value to the travel experience for the eight million passengers our fleet serves each year,” said Ken Testani, SuperShuttle’s senior vice president, global marketing & partnerships. “With the Deem platform, we can present our customers with a SuperShuttle-branded experience that opens up a myriad of highly relevant deals and offers based on where they are or where they are going. For example, now, when SuperShuttle drops off a customer at the hotel, they can take advantage of a great deal we send them for the restaurant around the corner.”
The Deem platform is a highly configurable white-label solution that can be embedded virtually anywhere across web, mobile and other social surfaces. The technology powering the platform – its “relevance engine” – correlates the identity, preferences, location and context of a user with the unique availability, capabilities and offerings of merchants to deliver personalized deals and offers. In this virtual commerce circle, the customer, merchant and partner site, such as SuperShuttle, all gain significant benefits: the customer experiences more relevant content and an easy, seamless, direct purchase; the merchant gets broad reach targeting relevant customers and high performance marketing in the form of transactions versus leads; and the partner maintains customer engagement, retains brand consistency and shares in revenue.
“Category leaders are defined by customer engagement and SuperShuttle is a pinnacle brand in the travel industry always looking to create deeper customer connections,” said Patrick W. Grady, founder and CEO of Rearden Commerce. “With the Deem platform powering Destination Deals, SuperShuttle can fuel deeper engagement by delivering highly relevant experiences and real value to every Super Shuttle business and personal traveler.”
