St. Petersburg, Fl. July 25, 2011—Kobie Marketing, a recognized leader in the loyalty marketing industry, was recently named a Gold winner in the 2011 Communicator Awards sponsored by the International Academy for the Visual Arts.
Kobie’s winning entry was selected from more than 6,000 submissions across a variety of marketing campaigns conducted by US agencies on behalf of their clients. The Gold award was granted to Kobie for the Verizon Perks Gift Box e-mail marketing campaign.
Kobie and Verizon were also honored with a Bronze by the 2011 Summit Creative Award® competition for the same campaign. The Summit Creative Award recognizes and celebrates the creative accomplishments of small and medium sized advertising agencies and other creative groups with annual billings under $30 million. Over the past seventeen years, the competition has established itself as the premier arbiter of creative excellence for firms of this size and has become a coveted honor worth touting.
The award winning campaign used an opt-in e-mail marketing offer to members of Verizon Perks, the company’s loyalty marketing program for its valued customers. The offer was distributed in advance of the 2010 Holiday season and encouraged program members to open up the imbedded gift box to take advantage of unique opportunities to redeem Verizon Perks for special items and gifts specifically tailored to the holiday season. The Verizon Perks team has worked with Kobie Marketing on the loyalty program since 200x. According to Tricia McVeigh, CRM Marketing Manager,“Verizon Perks has long been associated with rewarding and recognizing our customers. We wanted to create a compelling and engaging campaign which reminded our members that we appreciate their business and constantly strive to find new ways to deliver value to them. The two awards highlight our commitment to engaging our customers in the most creative framework we can deliver. The awards also reinforce our creative partnership with Kobie Marketing.”
According to Michael Hemsey, President of Kobie, “we are in business for only one reason: to drive incremental financial results for our clients from the programs Kobie supports. We accomplish this by engaging our client’s customers, connecting all the touch points of our client’s brand, and a relentless commitment to testing, learning and improving based on business results. Recognition by the industry of our innovation and creative excellence is gratifying, but helping our clients win in the competitive marketplace of today is what this agency is all about.”
