Awards luncheon set to reveal winners in customer loyalty challenge

Proving that customer loyalty has no borders, eight well-respected brands are among those vying for top honors in the inaugural Loyalty360 Awards.

The awards, which recognize the innovation and effectiveness of the world’s best customer loyalty programs, will be presented during a special luncheon on March 17 at the 7th Annual Loyalty Expo, presented by Loyalty360 – The Loyalty Marketer's Association. Loyalty Expo will be held March 17-19, 2014, at the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress in Orlando, Florida.

The chance to honor and recognize such prestigious brands—including Telefonica O2, Air France and Opet Petroleum—has added a new level of excitement to the first ever Loyalty360 Awards.

“Some of the most exciting entries in these awards have been from the International brands,” said Loyalty360 CEO Mark Johnson. “We were excited to receive so much participation from brands across the globe because it demonstrates the universal importance of cultivating and rewarding a loyal customer base using the best technology and proven fundamentals.”

From a field of 62 brands, 35 finalists have been chosen among six categories and for the overall, best-in-show “360 Degree Loyalty Award.” The awards include Platinum, Gold, Silver and Bronze levels in the following categories:

  • 360-Degree Loyalty Award
  • Reward Program
  • Customer Experience and Engagement Strategy
  • Use of Technology in Loyalty Marketing
  • Creative Campaign in Loyalty Marketing
  • Use of Market Research, Customer Insight or Voice of the Customer in Loyalty Marketing
  • International Markets Award

Loyalty360 named the following award finalists in the International Markets division:

  • BP, Turkey
  • Coca-Cola, Turkey
  • Federation Centres
  • Flying Blue (the loyalty program of Air France and KLM)
  • Opet Petroleum Inc.
  • Telefonica O2
  • Tesco and Maltesers
  • Vodafone, Turkey

To reward brands that are leading the way in crafting and executing effective loyalty marketing strategies, a panel of 21 judges representing top-level marketing was assembled by the Loyalty360 team. This large pool of talent was chosen to provide an accurate assessment of each entry based on the strict scoring guidelines for the awards.
