IT     Expo West, a premier IP communications event, takes place at the     Austin Convention Center September 13 – 15. There, Porte will provide     anecdotal stories and results from successful Voice of the Customer     programs during the panel discussion Hearing the Voice of the     Customer Leads to Songs of Success to be held Thursday, September 15     from 10 – 10:45 am CT.

Engagement     Expo, powered by Loyalty 360, is an industry forum designed to     explore practices and solutions, along with the challenges and     opportunities that today’s organizations face across customer, brand,      channel and merchant engagement. The event will take place at The Westin     Stonebriar in Frisco, Texas, November 6-8. Porte will be joined by     Vovici customer, Ben Robins, research manager, Audience Insight &      Research, for a session titled Radio Silence is Costly, NPR Listens     with Panels, to be held Monday, November 7 at 1:30 pm CT.      This one hour presentation will examine how online communities have     become one of the most efficient ways to listen to customers and     translate their insights and feedback into tangible business results. As     an organization opens up to customers’ thoughts, concerns and     complaints, it can gain respect and confidence, and move from a vendor     that provides a service into an indispensable partner.

With over 20 years experience, Porte is responsible for Vovici’s Voice     of the Customer program, including managing customer support, customer     training and CRM systems.
