Frequent Flyer loyalty programThe travel and hospitality industries go hand-in-hand, which is why it makes perfect sense to see a number of burgeoning loyalty program partnerships being formed among brands across these verticals. And a new agreement between Hospitality Management Holdings (HMH) and Saudia Airlines speaks directly to the benefits that such partnerships can reap.

Specifically, HMH has linked with Alfursan, the frequent flyer loyalty program of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s full-service national carrier.

“We are pleased to announce our partnership with Alfursan, the hugely successful loyalty program of Saudia Airlines, the national airline of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia,” said Laurent A. Voivenel, CEO of HMH. “As part of the agreement all Alfursan members staying at any participating hotels within the HMH portfolio will have the opportunity to earn 2 Alfursan Miles for each 1 USD spent for their qualifying service.”

Participating in the program is also easy for consumers. After signing up for an Alfursan membership, HMH guests can begin earning Alfursan miles by simply presenting their membership number when booking a stay at any hotel within the HMH network.

The wide range of hotels that currently exist across HMH’s network also further enhances these benefits. Regardless of the type of hotel accommodations travelers seek, the new partnership allows members to earn loyalty program miles by staying at luxurious urban resorts, desert getaways, beach retreats, budget hotels and more.HMH Hotel Network and Airline Partnership

“This new partnership with Saudia supports HMH’s strategy to drive key growth markets,” Laurent continued. “With Alfursan’s vast reach and popularity as a frequent flyer program, it is a very strategic tie-up for us and will increase our brand exposure globally as well as in our top source market Saudi Arabia. Being a leading Halal-friendly, alcohol-free chain of hotels we are uniquely positioned across the Middle East and North Africa, and offer travelers seeking Halal-friendly hotels the perfect choice in a safe environment.”

The joint venture also presents a world of opportunities for airline travelers as well. Currently, Saudia Airlines supports flights to 118 destinations across the world. And it has plans to increase its fleet of 153 planes to over 230 in the next five years.
