Whether for business or leisure, the ability to hop on a plane, take a trip, earn some miles, and collect rewards has been a traditional loyalty program standard for years. Many airlines feature such a program. It is fairly common, though it is still not yet universal. But as more players in the competitive airline industry realize the value of attracting and retaining customer loyalty, more of these types of programs are appearing.
The latest addition to the list is flynas, the leading low cost Saudi Arabian airline that promises on-time and efficient flights. As the newest airline fleet in the region, flynas has just announced the launch of its inaugural loyalty program to bring more exceptional customer experiences to guests.
It’s called “Nasmiles” and flynas believes that the effort will show fliers just how important the airline considers their business. To demonstrate this appreciation, Nasmiles is offering a comprehensive and incentivizing customer experience through a number of special offers.
Nasmiles members will begin earing rewards simply by making purchases throughout the duration of their interaction with flynas. All purchases related to extra baggage check or carry-on, costs associated with seat selection, lounge access, or food and beverages, will earn members up to 5% back on these associated costs. Nasmiles also features three exclusive tiers, and as members spend more, they will be invited to move up through the exclusive Bronze, Silver, and Gold ranks of membership.
By using smartphones and social media applications to manage their loyalty program account, Nasmiles also encourages members to interact with the loyalty program through a variety of digital channels.
Furthermore, one of the most substantial aspects of Nasmiles is the addition of “Family Memberships.” flynas understands that family is important to the lives of its customers, and so it took efforts to incorporate the Middle East’s family-centric culture into the loyalty program. As such, Nasmiles will allow up to eight family members to link their memberships to one universal Nasmiles account.
“Given that customer engagement and satisfaction are at the heart of flynas’ long-term growth and development plans, the Nasmiles loyalty program will firmly contribute to flynas’ success as a pioneering airline committed to further elevating the guest experience through a mutually beneficial relationship between flynas and its guests,” said Yazeed Al Rasheed, Director of Marketing and Communications, NAS Holding.
To commemorate the launch of flynas’ first-ever loyalty program, flynas CEO Paul Byrne officially presented the first Nasmiles membership card to H.E. Sulaiman Bin Abdullah Al-Hamdan, Head of the General Authority of Civil Aviation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. All subsequent flynas customers can sign up for free through the airline’s website.
