USAA recently announced it will return nearly $3.7 billion in financial rewards to members in 2025, the largest distribution in the organization’s 103-year history. Last year, the financial services company for military members and veterans returned $2.2 billion to members.
The announcement was made after several other member-focused initiatives, including almost $450 million in no-interest loans, fee waivers, and payment extensions during the most recent government shutdown. Last month, USAA also unveiled its $500 million Honor Through Action initiative to support military families in the areas of career paths and financial and overall well-being.
USAA President and CEO Juan C. Andrade said, “We are committed to putting our members at the center of all we do and every decision we make. Sharing our financial results with our members reflects our responsibility to deliver strong value and exceptional service for the military community. We are taking action every day to help keep costs down and protect the long-term value of membership. Our members have sacrificed for our nation, and they deserve our very best.” Andrade added, “Ensuring our members benefit from our financial strength is critical. We will continue to push for reforms that address the broader factors increasing insurance costs for consumers.”
USAA’s sound financial position, combined with proactive loss-prevention efforts by both the organization and its members, has helped keep the association stable while continuing to return value.
The company has also worked to stabilize auto insurance rates, keeping increases below industry averages and saving members roughly $100 per policy annually, with further stabilization anticipated in 2026.
Members also benefit from savings programs such as bundling discounts, SafePilot®, and Connected Home technology.
In 2025, USAA expanded personalized outreach, providing approximately 3 million policyholders with tailored guidance to manage costs, reduce risk, and protect their financial well-being.
