Torani recently announced its 100th anniversary and plans to celebrate its legacy throughout 2025 as the creator of the first flavored latte. What began as a small family business in the 1920s with just five syrups has grown into a global powerhouse, offering more than 160 syrups and sauces across more than 30 countries.

Torani chairperson of the board and granddaughter of Torani founders Rinaldo and Ezilda Torre, Lisa Lucheta, said, “Flavor has always been the heartbeat of Torani, but people and opportunity are what have fueled us for so many years. My family started a small business with a few recipes brought over from Lucca, Italy. 100 years later, we’re proud to carry on this legacy as Torani brings amazing flavor to millions around the world.”

To celebrate its centennial anniversary, Torani is unveiling Opportunity Grants for non-profits committed to creating work opportunities in marginalized communities. Throughout 2025, the brand is allocating 100% of profits from its Diamond Syrup sales. The company projects that contributions to recipients will top $250,000. Four San Francisco Bay Area non-profits are among the first to receive the grants, which will be distributed in $10,000 increments.

In addition, Torani is kicking off a nationwide tour in April to celebrate and give back to the communities that have contributed to the company’s success. The tour will also feature the return of two classic Torani flavors from the 1920s: Anisette and Tamarindo, as it traverses from San Francisco’s North Beach neighborhood and brings the magic to New York City in May, Seattle in May and June, and Austin and Phoenix in October.
