Shah’s Halal Food has entered into a partnership with MetLife Stadium to bring authentic halal cuisine to fans of the New York Giants and Jets. As part of this collaboration, Shah’s will open three food service locations within the stadium: a flagship stand in West Hall (just inside the MetLife Gate), and two concourse locations at Sections 126 and 314.
The menu offerings at these Shah’s Halal spots will feature staples of the brand: hearty platters with chicken, lamb, or falafel; gyros; pakora chips; and their signature sauces. These are designed both to stay true to Shah’s Halal’s Middle Eastern roots and to fit well into a stadium-style dining environment.
“We are always looking for ways to elevate the fan experience and are excited to expand our Middle Eastern culinary options through this great partnership,” said Ron VanDeVeen, President and CEO of MetLife Stadium.
From MetLife Stadium’s side, this deal is part of a broader effort to enhance the fan experience and reflect the diversity of its audience through food choices. Shah’s Halal, meanwhile, is positioned as a rapidly growing quick-service halal brand, with over 170 global locations (118 in the U.S. and Canada) to its name. The new Shah’s Halal locations are expected to be operational in time for the upcoming NFL season.
