Royal Caribbean International is enhancing the rewards experience for travel agents in the U.K. and Ireland by launching its Upper Deck loyalty program on September 3. The cruise line is also integrating Club Royal into its rewards platform, allowing agents to earn up to £500 when booking higher-value holidays with Royal Caribbean.
Royal Caribbean International Senior Sales Director of U.K. and Ireland, Aaron Langford, stated, “Travel partners are a cornerstone of Royal Caribbean, and we have listened to their feedback to reimagine how they are rewarded by incentivizing their efforts in securing higher-value bookings. With Upper Deck, we are excited to raise the game on the earning potential for agents supporting our business, and I can’t wait to welcome more agents, both new to the brand and new to cruise, as a result.”
Agents who secure group bookings will earn a standard £10 per reservation, and those booking their personal holidays with Royal Caribbean will receive an extra £100 added to their Mastercard.
Royal Caribbean is also introducing an exclusive club for agents who generate more than £100,000 in Royal Caribbean revenue annually. Agents who reach this milestone will become part of the elite Upper Deck 100 and enjoy special perks, such as invitations to preview new ships and annual ship visits with their families.
Additionally, Royal Caribbean plans to invite the 12 top agents with the highest-value bookings between September 3 and October 1 to a five-night cruise from Miami. Agents will be able to celebrate their achievements on the Independence of the Seas from November 11 to November 16. The trip will feature highlights like visiting Royal Caribbean’s private destination in The Bahamas (Perfect Day at CocoCay), having fun at Thrill Waterpark, and Hideaway Beach, which features a swim-up bar, live DJ, pools, a private beach, and more.
