Tractor Supply Launches National Hometown Heroes Day to Honor Military, Veterans, and First Responders

Tractor Supply Company has formally declared November 1, 2025, as National Hometown Heroes Day, within its broader Hometown Heroes Days initiative running from October 28 through Veterans Day on November 11. During that one-day highlight, all Tractor Supply stores across the U.S. will honour local military service members, veterans and first-responders with special in-store events and a collective donation of over $1 million to local fire, police and veteran organizations.

In store activities will include “Touch-a-Truck” demonstrations with emergency/rescue departments, “Thank a Hero” write-in opportunities for customers, a digital “Honor Wall,” children’s Americana craft stations, special door-buster discounts, and other community-celebration features. Verified “Hometown Heroes” will receive a 10 % discount in-store on three key days: First Responders Day (Oct 28), National Hometown Heroes Day (Nov 1) and Veterans Day (Nov 11).

Tractor Supply’s Hometown Heroes program offers exclusive benefits to verified military members and first responders who join the Neighbor’s Club and confirm their status through ID.me. Once verified, members automatically receive top-tier Preferred Plus Neighbor status, which includes 2% back on purchases, free shipping on orders over $29, three quarterly reward credits for services like free delivery or pet washes, and other special rewards. Verified Hometown Heroes also earn a quarterly 5% off coupon, extra discounts on Hero Holidays, and access to designated parking spots at stores.

Vicious Biscuit Unveils Exclusive Secret Menu for Rewards Members

Vicious Biscuit has launched a new limited-time secret menu available exclusively to members of its rewards app. Running from October 27 through November 23, the promotion features two indulgent Southern-inspired dishes: the Lord of the Fries, and the Old Country Reboot.

Lord of the Fries adds a kick to classic cheddar fries. The bowl is topped with fried chicken, bacon, ranch, and candied jalapeños. The Old Country Reboot, features a hearty breakfast bowl with potatoes, fried chicken, maple-sausage gravy, and a cage-free egg. The offer gives loyal guests access to unique items not found on the regular menu, reinforcing the brand’s commitment to creativity and Southern comfort.

Alaska Airlines Expands Network with 13 New Routes, Strengthening Hubs in San Diego, Portland, and Hawaii

Alaska Airlines is planning a major network expansion beginning spring 2026, with the launch of 13 new nonstop routes and increased flight frequencies across its hubs. This includes the addition of two entirely new destinations—Tulsa, Oklahoma and Arcata‑Eureka, California—which brings the carrier’s total served destinations to 142.

Key growth efforts are focused on its hubs in San Diego, California and Portland, Oregon. In San Diego, Alaska will add five new nonstop routes and expects to grow the hub by more than 35 % in Spring 2026 compared with Spring 2025. In Portland, the airline will add four new destinations (Baltimore, Idaho Falls, Philadelphia and St. Louis) plus extra frequency on existing routes.

In Hawaiʻi, Alaska is deepening its commitment by increasing non-stop connections from key West Coast gateways and introducing a new Honolulu-to-Burbank service, marking the first direct connection in over 20 years.
