“One Last Summer,” With Coca Cola

Finding your identity in college is a rite of passage for many. This summer, Coca Cola is here to help highlight this. In their 4 part docuseries titled, “One Last Summer,” the brand follows a group of friends in Illinois as they hangout one last time before going separate ways. The campaign is an extension of its, “Share a Coke” campaign. The unique take by Coke is starting to become a new trend within different industries, as other brands have experimented with long form video as well. Everything ties into lending value and providing meaning to younger generations, who are looking for brands that represent them adequately. No longer is personalization the only requirement for maintaining younger consumers, now powerful messages are almost a necessity in retention.

Free Slurpee Day at 7-Eleven

Today is July 11th, 2018. 7/11. 7-Eleven. 07/11/18. Today is the big day, the one we’ve all been waiting for, the big enchilada if you will. Today is akin to the “Pretzel Day,” episode of “The Office.” Okay, maybe we are being a wee bit dramatic, however, today is indeed a big day at all 7-Eleven stores.
